ABOUT US & OUR VISION

We collaborate to support each other in creating and developing Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) training programs in Nordic countries. We hold a future vision, that there could be a Nordic Master’s Degree in DMT. The professionalism develops from grounded and accredited training in DMT methods and theory.

We represent the dance therapy associations in the Nordic countries. These associations are members of the EADMT, European Association Dance Movement Therapy. We connect with the missions of the EADMT, and try to engage with them in Nordic countries. It is important to work actively to promote the practice of DMT, and the state recognition of the profession. In each Nordic country, it is important to bring DMT professionals accessible to each other, to others interested in DMT, and to clients as well.
